The second one (part of a long corridor) is, I think, at the Summer Palace near Beijing; and the third is the entrance to the Forbidden City in Beijing.

| If my memory serves correctly (which it may well not, after 5 years), I believe the first one is the outside of a temple containing the world's largest wooden Buddha carved out of a single tree trunk, with a height of 18 metres(?), from about 1650(???). I didn't take a photo of it inside, because of a large sign saying NO PHOTO - although everybody else did. The second one (part of a long corridor) is, I think, at the Summer Palace near Beijing; and the third is the entrance to the Forbidden City in Beijing. |
