What is Zen Creations? |

|
Zen Creations is handmade sterling & fine silver, freshwater pearl, crystal, glass and gemstone jewelry by Heather Nowell.
Zen Creations was started in the spring of 2005. After spending 8 years studying and working as a jeweler, and the birth of my daughter, I decided it was time to create my own line of jewelry.
With the help of my family, friends and co-workers, local craft shows, jewelry parties, and the genius that is Etsy.com, I was able to expand my line to include necklaces, bracelets and rings. |

My Background |

I have studied jewelry and enameling techniques at Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and an Associate's Degree in Jewelry Fabrication in Design.
After graduating, I spent the next 5 years working in high end jewelry, for a well known designer in Philadelphia, Pa. There I had the opportunity to work with various materials including: South Sea Pearls, platinum, 18K gold and various gemstones.
For my own line of jewelry, I wanted to create pieces that are fun, wearable and, most importantly, afforadable.
