POLTERGEIST
By: Shyan Chapman 06/15/2004
Poltergeists or "Noisy Ghosts" are manifestations that
break objects, slam doors, and over turn furniture. They date back to the dawn
of History. To this day no one for certain can say what exactly Poltergeists
are.
A lot of Paranormal Investigators have
linked some of the "Poltergeist" cases to Telekinesis. Telekinesis is
the ability to move an object with a highly focused mind. When an object is
seen "floating" through the air and then crashing against a wall or
doors opening and slamming shut, people naturally assume it is the work of a
Poltergeist, like a throw-back to ancient times when such things were said to
be Devils and Demons, obviously we have not yet evolved beyond such blind
accusations.
In some cases people find that it was not a Poltergeist at all -
though I do not doubt that such things exist - instead they find that it was
their own mind, either manifesting a Thought-Form or causing the violent
actions through the above-mentioned Telekinesis due to tremendous Psychological
tension.
A good example of Telekinetic force caused by Psychological
tension and
Trauma is
the movie "Carrie," though the phenomena in the movie persisted even
after she became conscious of her ability, which doesn't seem to be the case
for most people in reality.
A lot of known Poltergeist activity
seems to manifest around
Power
Plants, Massive Towers, and where a large number of power lines criss-
cross on
telephone poles - which are unnatural counterparts to Lay-Lines, the natural
cross-points of which also seem to manifest such activity. This particular
evidence supports a longstanding theory that Poltergeists are intelligent
beings made entirely of energy, it cannot be said whether they are good or evil
- Lions eat animals, they are not evil. Poltergeists seem to feed off the
surrounding energy, whether it electrical or emotional. Some Poltergeists seem
to thrive on negative energy under this theory.
Under the Telekinesis theory it can be said that places of high
energy
Concentration,
can open up mental pathways that have long been dormant in the Human Psyche,
such an opening can send the mind into an unseen shock – thus making it
susceptible to Psychological Stressors around and within.
There are many different types of
energy:
1.) Bio-electromagnetic Energy (The Life Force
within all
living
things/Synergistic by nature, mix between
various forms of energy,
including Kinetic)-
Manifesting in Humans,
Animals and Plants.
2.) Kinetic Energy- Movement-Something in motion.
3.) Electricity (Electric Energy)- Protons/Electrons
Manifesting Positive/Negative charges in
virtually everything.
4.) Static Energy- Sitting still
This is the potential of
Kinetic energy, though they
are all synchronized,
without one there cannot
exist the other.
5.) Thermal Energy- Heat, Friction can make Thermal
Energy.
6.) Chemical Energy
(Liquid Energy)- Like gas in a car,
Chemical Energy feeds Kinetic Energy while Chemical
Energy could not
manifest as Energy without being
fed by Kinetic Energy, both
are set into motion by
potential Static
Friction.
7.) "Other Energy"- there are many
"Other" types of Energy
that have yet to be
classified by any form of
mainstream science, such
as one mentioned as
'Emotional Energy' which
has undeniable consequences
on matter itself.
Many people who claim to have a Poltergeist often say when it is
in the room they can feel a "Cold Spot". It is possible that this
Cold Spot is just a natural manifestation of fear, which is basic Human
Behavior, when something cannot be explained by our current model of logic.
When the idea of a Poltergeist enters our minds we tend to get jumpy, becoming
easily frightened by even the simplest thing. We get goose bumps because of
some sensation brought on by fear, though it is mainly attributed to a 'cold
spot' because the basic male machismo is apt to deny being afraid of something
that is not there, either consciously or unconsciously, that is not to say that
there is no 'Cold Spot'. Fear is understandable though when you think of the
connotations the term "Poltergeists" carries with it. Such a word
conjures images of the tortured dead whom have been upset from a long slumber,
or one who refuses to rest. Images of mangled decaying forms come to mind,
moaning and clanking chains, demonic voices, cold to the touch.
What is more frightening than the opposite of being alive and
understanding life? Nothing more than something which can be said to be the
living dead in one form or another. So I say again, fear is quite
understandable.
It may
indeed grow cold when there are Poltergeists or Ghosts around, but there are
also simple cold spots -which are devoid of Thermal Energy, either because the
space is occupied by a plant or because there is a lot of shade. This is just
one of the many theories on what the mysterious "Cold Spot" could
possibly be, though they are not ruled out.
