(It never Rains In) HAZZARD COUNTY

Words by Patrick Wickenden Hunter

music by Adam Wiggin and Patrick Wickenden Hunter

I remember the nights of driving out in the General Lee playing bumper cars

watching shooting stars all the stupid memories of afternoons in the green grass while

the shadows climbed the hills you know I always wanted to go back and I guess I

never will I remember walking down the roads we drove a million times

we did lemon drops and tequila shots until we lost our minds we put pennies on the

traintracks swam in the lake at night singing stupid songs throwing cherry bombs oh

all the wasted time so let's stop and wait til tommorrow we'll take back the things

we said after all the nights by the firelight I don't want it to end like this cause I know

that I am sorry and I know that I was wrong and it'll never rain in Hazzard County

except when you are gone (so break it down now) so meet me on the outside we'll

do this one more time and we'll forget these things and everything and drink some

cheap red wine I am not asking for forgiveness but I know it'll be alright

and the sun will come up tomorrow morning so won't you stay here tonight

I remember the nights of driving out in the General Lee playing bumper cars

smoking cheap cigars all the stupid memories and I know that I am sorry and I know

that I was wrong and it'll never rain in Hazzard County t'll never rain in Hazzard

County it'll never rain in Hazzard County except when you are gone.
