Whatevermore

Words and music by Patrick Wickenden Hunter

On the other side I turn my head walls of twenty years of entitlement

Through the drunken haze I see your eyes every word you said as you speak

Quiet slivers of breath are all that I hear whispering sweet nothing in my ear

This is your reward for making it through

Lived four years in Hell I can live without you

But every thing that other wise was doomed to fail but at least I tried

To reach you now if not before if nothing less and never more

I can hold your hand while I'm coming down

I can flap my arms until my feet don't touch the ground

Holding on to nothing at all

And I want to know can you hear me?

In another place on the other side disembodied parts of someone else's life

You know I did this just to prove I can I fake everything like the whore I am

And all these thoughts of other things losing my mind I am balancing

On another thought of what's come before if nothing less whatevermore?

I can hold your hand while you're coming down

I can flap my arms Until my feet don't touch the ground

Holding on to nothing at all

And I want to know can you hear me?

Sometimes I think living is the hardest thing to do

But God give me strength and I can make it out alive

I can make it on my own

(today is the best day of my life)

I can hold your hand while I'm coming down

I can flap my arms Until my feet don't touch the ground

Holding on mother this is all

That I want to know is can you hear me now?

Can you hear me now?
