These services involve : review of legislation, enacting privatization laws, drafting decrees, setting-up and assisting privatization committees, selecting and training civil servants and utility management, developing accounting and appropriation procedures ;
Assistance is provided to privatization committees/ministries (selection of investment bankers, technical consultants, legal counsel ; diagnostic and valuation of companies to privatize ; identification of best practices by industry, communication programs, sales promotion) ;
Technical assistance can include development of master sector restructuring strategies or master plans (ex. : power sector expansion plans, power distribution master plan, water sector investment programs, etc.)

Consulting assistance in the privatization process of individual companies (Electricity and water sectors being principal target sectors) ; Full service assistance includes : diagnostic review, preparing company profile and confidential information memorandum, bidding documents, transaction contracts, searching for buyers, valuation and assisting with negotiations and closing the sale. We also assist private investors and consulting groups prepare their proposals.
