This is um...well...we didn't get a description with this one, & all attempts at describing it have ended in a profound silence. We recently lost a festival team member who, after viewing it twice, ran off to live in a teepee or something. Weird psychological effects, suspense, & entertainment guaranteed.  Highly experimental (emphasis on the MENTAL), yet fiercly focused.
Yes, even zero-budget films can be art. But not the 'artsy' kind of art.

The Punisher   &   Goin' All Night,   from Skatopia/CIA
Skate videos. Not just skate videos, though.  These tapes are compiled by the people of CIA & Skatopia, a place built by & for skaters. As they put it, "Skatopia is dedicated to providing a 24 hour skate haven. Freedom is the emphasis, not pads, waivers, or rules." Since 1996.
The people responsible for this footage & the non-profit skate park  tucked away in the hills will put ANYBODY to shame when it comes to independence & freedom. Teamwork, skating, explosions (with REAL dynamite)
THis ain't no wanna-be Jackass shit. Jackass wishes they were this tuff.

Don't let the packaging fool ya. The people who made this are LORDS of low-budget video production. If you've ever wondered how far you can take a bluescreen & 3 labcoats, let this be your textbook.
A mad scientist, his associates, & their 2-dimensional robot drummer take over the world through science & the occult. Funny, funny poop.

Did you know A. Ghastlee Ghoul actually appeared in the 1963 "classic" The Manster ? That's right, but somehow all his scenes ended up on the cutting-room floor. Now you can see it, restored to it's original glory, and just bursting with Ghastlee goodness !
