Rules of the Trade

These are just some basic rules to get you started on roleplaying. We expect everyone to follow them, and if you don't, your post won't be around for long. Wolf and Eve moniter these boards closely, so please be respectful to the rules and keep things clean.



1. Write all posts in past tense.

2. Write all posts in third person.

3. Don’t write for anyone’s character but your own. This means both as a part of your post, and (although obvious) as an entirely separate post. If you’re talking to another character, don’t write “She/he looked angry,” unless the author of that character made it clear that their character may have looked mad. If you’re away and won’t be able to write for your character, you don’t need to get someone else to do it for you. Just disappear for a while – no one minds.

4. Because this site is based on an adult society, we have decided to keep all language, references and violence at PG-13. This is typically high for a role-playing site, so we have some basic expectations. First of all, no sex posts. Anything leading up to it, fine, but if you try to go past there we will stop you, because we’re trying to keep this site clean. Second, we allow any language that you would find in a PG-13 movie, but that doesn’t mean we expect you to use it every time you run out of a word. Be creative and use varying word choice, but we’re not going to hold you back from using a swear word if it’s the one you’re looking for. For violence, the same. If you wouldn’t see something in a PG-13 movie, don’t describe it here. We don’t want to read it.
