Students in our community are of spanish origin. Basically, they do not come from one country of spanish origin but, they come from various countries in which Spanish is the language of origin .As an enrichment activity students will use the computer one at a time to locate on the map the countries in which Spanish is spoken as the language of origin. Students will print and pin-point on the map the countries and their capitals. |

I graduated from Teaching School in Cuba in 1960. I came to the United States with the intention of working as a teacher. In 1974, I was able to find work, as a para-professional, at Henry H. Filer Middle School, were I currently teach. In 1977, I graduate with honors from Biscayne College ( a.k.a. St. Thomas University). I currently teach Spanish at Henry H. Filer Middle School. I am a certified teacher with experience teaching in Mathematics, E.S.O.L.,and Spanish. |
