KAPPA PSI KAPPA FRATERNITY, INC. an organization of gay and bisexual men, was founded on August 17, 2001 in Tallahassee, FL by our most illustrious founders.

The vision of KAPPA PSI KAPPA was made known to Bro. D. Sean Benjamin and Bro. Rollen Scarboror in May of 2001. The two founders selected three fellow men to take part in the formulation of a NEW fraternity in Tallahassee. KAPPA PSI KAPPA was the result of that vision. The fraternity was founded upon the principles of Brotherhood, Leadership, Service & Scholarship and was exemplified in our fraternity motto, "The Bond of a Brotherhood, Never Settling in the Past, but Striving for the Future". It was then that these two men where joined by two other men, Vermeil Hayes and John Manual. These four men, together, laid the foundation forKappa Psi Kappa After its founding on August 17, 2001, the fraternity executed a very small recruiting effort. It was during this recruiting effort that Bro. Robert Smith was pledged and crossed. The founders took note of some the exempliary work that he had done to make Kappa Psi Kappa the fraternity it is today. Robert Smith not only helped to finish the foundation of the National Fraternity but started what is now the ZETA COLONY.
