Signature Programs
Zeta Nu Sigma has made her mark on the city through participation and implementation of community based programming and service.  ZNS Sorors make it a point to present the organization and the chapter as a ready and willing resource to community members and community service agencies.  Our programs, therefore, are largely focused on revitalizing and mobilizing our local cities, and promoting unity amongst our men and women of color.
Monthly...
At least one weekend a month, ZNS Sorors dedicate a day to service.  We've volunteered regularly at Rosie's Place, a shelter for women and children who have escaped domestic violence, and the Greater Boston Food Bank, a warehouse where food donations are organized for delivery to needy families.  While we embrace every opportunity to take on a new field of service, we have formed lasting relationships with these agencies and make it a priority to give them some of our time on a regular basis.
Annually...
Annually, ZNS participates in programs held by our local and national affiliates.  Some of these organizations include the March of Dimes, the Breast Cancer Foundation, and the AIDS Action Committee, all of which hold fundraising walks for which we volunteered to staff. Locally, we've worked with such youth- and minority-based community centers throughout the city as Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), Roxbury Multi-Service Center, the Youth Worker's Alliance, and Dimock Community Health Center.
In the works...
ZNS is excited about the possibility of beginning weekly programming with Boston Public Schools in the capacity of an after-school rhythmic step workshop at Dorchester Educational Complex...stay tuned for details!
