| Episode 1: "Death Has a Shadow" First Aired: January 31, 1999 Despite Lois' warning, Peter gets drunk at a stag party, and loses his job the next day. When he can't find it in his heart to break the bad news to Lois, he decides to go on welfare on which, due to a mistake made by the goverment, he ends up recieving $150,000 a week. After Lois finds out about the extremely large overpayment, he realizes that he has done something very wrong, and attempts to return the money to taxpayers from a blimp at the Super Bowl. He ends up getting into a lot of trouble. In the end, the day is saved by Stewie, who uses his mind conrol device on the judge to elimate the jail sentences given to Peter and Lois, and gets Peter his job back. |
