Web services based on UDDI are an evolution in e-business applications that will help business market new products, deliver personalized service, increase customer loyalty and evolve at electronic speed. Web services take B2B to a new level. Web services uses Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI), a new standard for publishin and locating information about businesses and services that they provide. Vantage believes that web services is one of the "next big things". P2P: Peer to Peer (P2P) is a new computing model for web-based businesses. In P2P computing model, all participants are treated as equal peers, rather than as client and server. From a business management point of view, P2P will greatly enhance intimacy between a company and its customers, partners and suppliers. It will improve operational efficiency because callaborators inside and outside the company can respond more quickly and intelligently to new problems and opportunities as they arise. The newly emerging JXTA technology is pioneering in the P2P space. Vantage's C-Space solution is based on the JXTA technology and provides peer collaboration by means of live voice-over-IP (VoIP), instant messaging, email, file sharing, and electronic drawing board.
