Lefty
What would you say was the most difficult thing you ever had to do?

The most difficult thing? I don’t know. College was pretty difficult because I was trying to balance a lot. I was doing a lot of music stuff on the side, I had to get good grades and try to pay for school at the same time.

What’s the first album you remember buying with your own money?

I think it might’ve been a Luther album back in the 80s.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I’m working on becoming a better singer actually. I know that sounds strange but I’m going to start taking vocal lessons so that I can learn how to sing better and that my voice doesn’t get as tired as it does.

Who has been the greatest influence on you?

Probably Stevie Wonder. Yeah, Stevie Wonder.

Name one goal you still haven’t reached.

I’ve got so many that I don’t even know where to start. I set a lot of goals for myself. I want to have a multi-platinum album with some Grammy awards. That’s what I’m aiming for this year.

What do you cook when you want to impress someone?

I’ve got my legendary macaroni and cheese and I’ve also got my legendary chicken stew. It gets them everytime.
