The time has come...
That's right, the time has come once again for

I am very excited about this.
Sterling Boyd has returned to the kit and is ready
to destroy your sanity with his cursed drums beats!
Chris Hoff is the newest member
and he will be bringing the thunderous bass that makes
the gate itself quake in it's ethereal foundations!

THE TIME HAS COME
The Ziggurat is back in the studio working on the next
installment of pure Lovecraftian Terror!
Recording began in mid September and will hopefully
be finished sometime this Winter.
These new songs are heavier, smarter and more melodic than
past material.
I am sure that all of you (the ziggurat fans) will
be very pleased!
You will see some changes coming to the website and to

Sorry to have dissapeared like that. Just want to let everyone know that we
are still here and we are still making progress with the new material.
All new music is written and complete, all that remains is
fine tuning the lyrics.

It is official
The Ziggurat is well into writing new material for the next album.
Currently over 70% of the material is finished.
These songs are smarter, heavier and more complex.
The lyrical subject matter will be a little different.
About half of the songs are mythos oriented
and the other half are more in our elder style...occult, theology and ancient myth
but dont you think for a second that this album wont rip reality in half

RECORDING UPDATE
Well guys, sorry it's been so long since the last update. Things have been slow going lately.
But there is good news. The drum tracks are almost finished and we will be starting vocals in the next
two weeks. Also, I'm very proud to say that I am now a new Dad.
My daughter was born June 4th. And in honor of one of the Gods of metal (KING DIAMOND) her
name is ABIGAIL MIRIAM BOYD.

With a CD still forthcoming we have been unable to get any shows, so we are looking to you for help. there are rumors that we will be playing 11/8 at the Ton-80, but as of yet these are still without basis.
