My experience in working with Luis Salgado was truly amazing. I am Jamal Sims Choreographer of the feature film Step Up 2. The film is a dance movie shot here in Baltimore. I was the choreographer on the first one as well. For the sequel we are taking it to another level! We have added so many different styles of dance. I met Luis Salgado through a referral from another well respected Choreographer Rhapsody James from New York. I was looking for assistance in choreographing our Salsa scene in the movie. Luis came in with the ultimate focus and dedication. I wanted to make sure we kept the authenticity of the dance and he made sure we did exactly that. He worked with the lead actors as well as the other cast members with so much charm and charisma. Everyone enjoyed working with him including myself. He was offered the role of Alejandro by the director Jon Chu. His gift for choreography and acting were so greatly appreciated and respected by all. I feel so honored to have had him on our film.
