Zilch have currently been working with legendary producer Brendon Lynch (Primal Scream,Paul Weller) with whom they have produced some of there most recent demo’s.Like the short & scary “Blame”, that utters “You know we’ve only just begun” before expolding into a rant That sounds like Adam Ant fronting Nirvarna on the top of an open top bus! Or the sleazy down and out “Denying Everything” fully loaded with an after taste of Keith Richards on the piss with Iggy! Along with there recent studio work the band also have a Live performance that Slaps you in the face, kicks you in the balls, Smashes everything and then leaves you sucking your thumb wondering what the fuck just happened and could you maybe have some more! Zilch have many influences Adam Ant, Iggy Pop, The Jam, The Damned, The Smiths and like all the bands that were full of energy, guts and Glamour, actually have something to say! In the brief time they have been performing they took the local scene by storm before spreading their wings to many venues away from the Glamorous East Angela! Front man Matthew Zilch has had a fair share of action at only 21 years old he has worked as roadie and backline tech with such acts as The Wonderstuff, Morrissy, Steve Harley and The Damned, Anyway, I could sit here for hours telling you how wonderful this band is, but what’s the point, this is just words on paper!!
