| Our family in Ethiopia lives behind this door. The family consits of 4 children. Their parents died of AIDS. Their ages are: 13 (girl), 11 (boy), 10 (boy), and 8 (girl). The family sometimes get helps from their relatives, but they need additional assistance. The eldest girl is the head of the family. The family did not want their photos placed here because of the stigma attached to AIDS. Interested sponsors may be provided with photos by consent from the family. Though their home is tiny and dilapidated, they are thankful that so far they have been able to stay in it together. Let's help them stay in their home, go to school, and stay together. It has been documeted that AIDS oprhans whose siblings are able to stay togehter have a much higer rate of survival then siblings that are separated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
