Bond Junior is seventeen years old, and according to the original book of 1967, is the son of Captain David Bond (007's brother, a charter flight pilot), and hopes some day to work at Universal Exports, which of course is a front for the British Secret Intelligence Service. He is a lot like the James Bond he is named after, suave, witty, popular with girls and of course skilled in the field, except for one thing: unlike 007, he is very kind and respectful with girls.
When he is not in school he is out battling criminal organisations on a global basis. As a present, his uncle gave him The Aston Martin Super, a unique gadget-laden sports car built from recycling the wreckage of the DB5.
The daughter of the Warfield headmaster, Tracy knows Junior better than anybody. She is willing to help Bond out when he needs to get out of Warfield, but she does get a bit testy at time when she catches Bond with other women. She is sexy, intelligent and devoted to the job in hand, as such is often takes the big sister role of group, willing to take the lead when James isn't around. Though to her dismay, at times she is left behind at Warfield while the others are off saving the world.
His real name is Horrace Boothroyd and is the grandson of Major Geoffory Boothroyd, the MI-6 quartermaster. Because much of Q's technology is Top Secret, there is not a lot that he can reveal to his grandchild, but the kid has learned enough from him to become a master inventor like gramps.
His manufacturing expertise has driven him to turn half the living space of the dorm, which he shares with his best friend Bond, into his own personal laboratory where much of his inventions has been developed. He lets Junior field test (and destroy) his gadgetry, but unlike his grandfather he is a bit more forgiving and tolerant. However, like "R", some of his own gadgets can get him into trouble.
