| Birthday Tradition If you would like, our class will celebrate your child's birthday with our birthday tradition. The birthday girl or boy wears a crown, jumps from the land of one to the land of two (or from two to three, etc.), gets to pick her/his favorite song for the class to sing, etc. If you would like, your child can hand out a SMALL "gift" such as a sticker, box of raisins, crayon, etc. as we sing the Magic Penny song. (Words below). Please, if you want to do the last part, keep the "gifts" SMALL and NO CANDY. The point of the practice to is get across the idea that we can be happy through generosity. If you would like to do any or all of this, just let Cynthia know. |
