The beat goes on. It's an archived life for us.

And I thought last week was bad...

Well, I put off updating 'til I was in a better mood. (Rain always helps with that.) And, so I am updating now. I'm not in the best of moods, but better than I have been lately, so that's saying something. I hate being down all the time. I'm sorry. I really don't mean to be. Okay, moving on so I don't get depressed again...

We'll start with the big thing...Kate is leaving. (All I'm going to say on that right now. I'm in a good mood here, I don't want to ruin it.)

Um, NaNoWriMo has started up. Yeah, I'm actually going to attempt this. It should be fun. How am I doin' right now...yeah, we won't talk about that either.

My teacher didn't like my story. Which is understandable, it needs a lot of work. But still sucks.

Yesterday I had 3 tests and a "quiz". And in the one class where I wasn't having a test, we talked about the election. That was fun.

I sleep a lot. I like sleep. But apparently that's all I do. So perhaps I'll actually try to stay awake for a while. Or at least until I fall asleep...yeah, that made more sense in my head...

I think I'm going to go get new shoes. I was going to try and wait 'til I got home (in 3 weeks), but I have resorted to Duct Taping them together. That's a sign that they will not last for 3 more weeks. Damn. I really liked these shoes. I hate shoe shopping. Gar. Unless there are really cute shoes. Then it'll be cool. When I was in...I don't know. Sometime in my life, I had these awesome shoes with Tweety Bird (or some sort of character...it could have been Taz) on them, and they rocked. They lasted me a very long time. If I find some that are way cute with a character on them, I'll get those. If not, well, I can always draw something on them...or not...whatever.

It's cold.

I wrote a letter to this company in Texas. They keep trying to break into my computer. So I wrote a letter full of IP addresses from the company and asking that they would please stop. Think they will? I hope so. 'Cause it's getting really annoying.

I want to watch a horror movie. At first I really wanted to go see "The Grudge". But I just can't pass up Cary Elwes. So, "Saw" it is. I think I'll go see it tonight. Possibly tomorrow.

Speaking of Cary Elwes...So, in my philosophy class there's this kid (who is also from Colorado) who always brings his laptop to class. Now, he gets A's on all the tests and knows his stuff, so I was like, "wow. He must really be taking good notes on his laptop." Then today, I look over, and he's watching "The Princess Bride". I guess we all have our little secrets, don't we?

And...and...yeah, I can't really think of anything...I really am boring, aren't I? Huh...That sucks...

>>Congradulations! You have stumbled and managed to fall to my little corner of the web. (Nice aim if you were aiming...if not, nice luck.)

THANK YOU!!!!
First, I'd like to thank Kara for drawing that awesome picture of Hermoine and Draco. It rocks! It has affectionately become known as "snog!" around here. We love it. Thanks for letting me use it.

And of course, Kate, you rock! Thank you for being my computer slave and friend. What would I do without you?

"somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look will easily unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skilfully,mysteriously)her first rose

or if your wish be to close me, i and
my life will shut very beautifully ,suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending;
nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility:whose texture
compels me with the color of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens;only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands"
