Programming

Here you can download some programs I wrote in the last few years.

• Quantum Viewer for Windows 95/98/2000 (english version). It is a small program that renders 3-D pictures of atomic orbitals. Currently only the hidrogenoid atom orbitals can be rendered. I have no plans to improve this program, but the files contain the whole source code (Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0). If you want, you can extend it by yourself.
• Score Maker for Windows 95/98/2000 (english and italian version). Its purpose is to create and print empty score sheets. It does not let you to write notes, only empty staves. (If you want to write music, try Lilypond!) The full source is included (Inprise C++ Builder 3.0).
• Heat (english version). I wrote this program for my thesis. It should compile on any UNIX system (I used Linux), and perhaps even under Windows, using the Cygwin tools.

Master Thesis

The title of my Master Thesis was "Propagation of Temperature Fluctuations in the Reference Loads of the Planck/LFI instrument". My work had little to do with classic astrophysics (no white dwarfs and nebulae here). Instead, it dealt with the thermal properties of the Reference Load, an important component of Planck, the ESA satellite that will discover the secrets behind the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) anisotropies.

PhD Thesis

The title of my PhD Thesis was "Data Analysis of the Planck/LFI QM/FM Instrument". Again, Planck!
