Let Me Be Your Angel

If I cannot be with you..
from this distance
then let me comfort you
it all makes sense, as your angel

If I cannot look into your eyes
then let the deep blue
of the sky's
be like a cloud, holding you
rest your head on your angel

If I cannot see your smile
then let me touch your soul
across the miles
in my arms, like an angel

If I cannot kiss your lips
then let my breath soothe
like the scent of a flower grips
fly away angel

If I cannot hold your hand
with these wings
let them be like the snow lands
the soft white powder, clings
like a comforting light
let me be your angel

The Angel of Music is surrounded by green to show the healing effect of music on our body as well as our soul. The deep crimson of the star behind her is a symbol of the life blood represented by the rhythms of music, much like the beating of our hearts. She plays a lute, an ancient instrument with melodious tones.

Luke 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
