OBEAH SPELLS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO:

People who do not believe in Obeah say these spells are mere a subject of belief and not actual fact.  Those who do believe in them know that these spells always take a price from those who use them.  Their usual recompense is turnabout - exactly what you have used the spell to do to someone else will happen to you.

LOVE SPELLS:

* Write the name of the person you desire on a piece of paper and put it in a bottle of brown sugarwater.  Hide the bottle in a dark corner of the house and the person you love should come to you in a few days.

* A woman should squat over a pot of hot rice and let her sweat drip into it.  All she has to do is serve the rice to the one she loves and the person will become enamoured of her.

* Knead flour for a meal with your left hand and serve it to the person you want.  The person will be drawn to you.

*  To make someone stay with you forever, take stale bread, burn it and mix the ashes into their tea.  Do this each day and the person will stay with you.

SPELLS FOR ENEMIES:

*  To bring harm to someone, carve their name on a black candle and burn it all the way down.

*  To get an aggressor to back down, hollow out a cucumber and put a piece of paper with their name on it inside then put it in the refrigerator, or an icebox.

*  To get someone to leave you alone, put a piece of paper with their name on it in a glass of water and freeze it.

*  To get an unwanted guest to leave your house, turn your broom upside down and sprinkle salt on it.

*  To get rid of something that worries you, think about it each day for ten days while holding money in your hand.  At the end of ten days, drop the money in the street and whoever picks it up will take your worry from you.
