The air quality on Montserrat continues to show an optimistic picture.
That is according to head of the ash-monitoring program Epidemiologist Peter Baxter.
Doctor Baxter did a follow up on the air sampling exercise that began here since the early part of the volcanic crisis.
The exercise also came ahead of the Scientific and Risk Assessment Meeting scheduled to start on Wednesday.
The successful clean up program in Salem and surrounding areas following the July 29th collapse of the dome is credited for the good air quality.
Doctor Baxter says his findings will be factored into the Hazard and Risk Assessment and should show a positive sign.
Meanwhile Doctor Baxter says although tests carried out on residents have shown no respiratory problems care should be taken during peak periods.
