Montserrat Aviation Services MAS is pleased with efforts to encourage day tours out of Antigua.
Over 30 tourists arrived in Montserrat today after MAS delayed the departure of the ferry from St. Johns.
The company decided that the ferry will depart Antigua at 9.00 am instead of 8 to capitalize on the number of tourists who visit Antigua onboard the cruise lines.
Today the visitors were taken on guided tours to places of interest including historical sites, and to Jack Boy and Garibaldi hills, where they viewed the volcano.
The tours can be accessed through local tour operators in Antigua at a cost of 85 EC dollars.
