Cable and Wireless customers on Montserrat have the opportunity to voice their opinions of the service provided.
The latest round of the company’s twice yearly “Voice of the Customer” survey began today.
In a press release, Acting GeneralManager Clifton Riley confirmed that Cable and Wireless and the CFI group developed the survey, which would allow customers to tell Wireless what are their service requirements and the satisfaction levels.
Mr. Riley said Cable and Wireless has used feedback from previous to guide several service improvement initiatives for example the Corporate Choice discount programme and the customer charter.
He said the respondents in the February Voice of the Customer Survey cited the need for improvement in the bill payment process and acting on this the company has reopened its Salem Office providing easier access and easier access and greater convenience for customers in and around the Salem area.
The survey utilizes a methodology that allows Cable and Wireless to develop a plan of action, which puts priority on the service areas, that customers say are most important to them.
It is conducted by way of a telephone interview with respondents randomly selected from several segments of the company customer base.
These include residential, small businesses, large businesses and mobile and Internet.
This round of the VOC survey is being conducted from St Lucia and will be completed by the end of October with results ready by the end of December.

Executive members and shop stewards of the Civil Service Association met today to discuss several issues critical to the CSA and it’s members.
President Easton Farrell says one of the main items was the integration of the Public Service Pension Plan and the Social Security Benefit Scheme.
Another important topic was the Final Report on the Job Evaluation Exercise.
Mister Farrell says the union is very concerned that the report has been handed to government while the CSA is been kept in the dark.
Farrell feels the report should be circulated, as it will have serious implications for all Civil Servants.
