Rutilated quartz (CHF 3.00)
Quartz (rock crystal) with needles of the metal rutile. This, by Alpine
standards, magnificent rutilated quartz was found in 1963 during road-widening
work on the Gotthard Pass road in the upper Val Tremola (Ticino).
Fluorite (CHF 4.00)
Octahedral crystal (8 cm side length) of fluorite with a pink core
and a green outer zone. The crystal was found in 1959 by the mineral collectors
Lucas Monn and Tumaisch Curschellas on Piz Blas (Val Nalps, Grisons).
