Ninety percent of all Northamerican movies are cut on Avid. That's why I am an Avid editor who usually works on Avid Media Composer or Avid MC Adrenaline, both for Mac and Windows. Yes, it's powerful, sofisticated and expensive tool!
It takes a while to an editor to reach the depth of that beautiful software. I had taken that time.
But...
Having experience of some technology changes during my career, I don't stick to devices or software. I would cut on whatever my client wants me as I did in the past. If I don't know it, I'll learn it.
PC or Mac?
Both. I am not a crusader of certain microprocessor or OS. I am in this business because of stories.
