EARTH | ||||||||
When we started this frightful war,
we did not know what was in store. For the future it seemed had come too fast, and the earth looked to us at last, for hope to survive in our reign of pain and shame; it’s all the same. We did not care what we were doing, we kept on polluting…polluting…polluting. We puffed black smoke into the air, when the sun looked down with its evil glare. Its red hot eyes looking straight down on us, while our atmosphere withered away into dust. |
