The Fireplace | |||||||||
I sit, staring into the flames, wondering where my life will go from here. The fire roars, mimicking my feelings. The flames leap from log to log, as my mind jumps from problem to problem. The fire grows large, consuming all it can touch. |

Now the wood is gone, smoldering ashes are all that remain. My mind is clear, my problems gone. Until the next day, when another spark ignites, in the fireplace. |
