Full Name : Alisa Noelle Girard

Birthplace: Pacoima, California
Background : Alisa  was born and raised in Los Angeles in a Christian home, the daughter of Chuck Girard
of Christian/rock pioneers LoveSong. She spent her  early youth, until she was 10, determined to become a
world-class gymnast  and investing a rigorous 30 hours a week toward that goal before her interests
unalterably shifted to music and sharing her faith. Having  already studied piano for some time, she began
giving concerts as a  teenager in California, as well as Arizona and as far north as Canada, all  the while
becoming deeply involved in inner-city outreach ministry. Both her loving heart and passion for ministry bore
fruit when she moved to New  York City for two years where she helped to run a church-founded urban  youth
center for two years.
Siblings: 3  sisters-Kristin Elisabeth, Cherie Patrice,  Nicole Breanne.
High School : Los Angeles Baptist High School.
College : Pierce  College (for 3 semesters).
Current Residence : Nashville,  Tennessee.
Hobbies : I  love to cook! I also love to play baseball & football-basically any  sport.
Hidden Talents : I don't think I have any.
Church : My home church is Los Angeles International Church.
Car : '98  Nissan Sentra.
When I was a kid, I wanted  to grow up and : Sing  for Jesus.
Now that I am grown up, I just want to be : Anointed  in everything I do.
The best part about of being in Zoegirl is : Looking  into the eyes of little girls & hoping that somehow
you are making a  difference in their live.
The most difficult part of  being in Zoegirl is : How  tiring it can be at times!
I love to hang out at : A  good restaurant, coffee shop, or at home.
My idea of having fun is : Cooking   a great meal for people I love.
Instruments I play : Piano  & a little guitar.
Instruments I wished I played : Drums!   I think girl drummers are so cool.
I wish I could live in : A   house in the country surrounded by woods & lots of grass.
Spiritual influences : My parents. I learned so much from them over the years, & they are still 
my main counselors! I've also been influenced by a lot of people I have  met that work with the homeless.
My mom always made sure that we worked soup lines &were very involved with inner-city work. There are
so many wonderful soldiers for Christ that work with the less fortunate every  day that will never have their
name on a CD or in a magazine, They are the heroes.
Nicknames : My  family & Chrissy call me Lessy, When I was a baby, my dad called me Lessy Beesy.
The Best advice anyone ever gave me is : From  my mom. She said, "Whenever everything seems
great & wonderful,  fall to your knees & recognize that you only breathe because God chose to put air in your lungs."
