Zoids are robots based on animals they are used for labor and combat. Zoid battles have become very popular among the people of Zi. So a league has been started, known as the Zoid Commission, to see who the best zoid pilots are and to keep things from getting to out of control. Zoids have built in arsenals but they can carry additional armaments. They vary in design some are used as snipers others as close range combat and still others are Jugernaughts that just lay down heavy fire. As the series starts we meet Bit Cloud the main character and pilot of Liger 0. At first he seems to be just a junk collector who is caught by the Blitz team, his future team mates. While the Blitz team tries to decide what to do with Bit they are challenged to a battle that Bit had interrupted earlier. After the first battle they leave Bit in the same room as the Liger. Bit talks to Liger like a real person and Liger takes a liking to Bit so Liger frees him and lets him pilot him more or less.
While Bit is being given the ride of his life the Blitz team is getting there asses kicked by the tigers team then all of a sudden the Liger 0 appears and tears the Sabre Tigers apart. After the battle the Blitz team asks Bit to join there team and fight with them he, of course, agrees. That is the basic run down of the first episode I saw and I think the first episode ever. Anyway that gives you a little background info on the main characters and a basic idea of what the series is about. Which stated simply is Bit Cloud proving himself as a pilot and having some weird side adventures along the way. As soon as I can I'll set up run-downs of every episode but that probably won't be anytime soon. So check back later you never know what I might add.
Episode #1: The Adventure Begins
A parts dealer named Bit Cloud roams around a Zoid battle site in his invisible truck, hoping to pick up some spare pieces from damage afterward. But he ends up getting in the way of a Shield Liger and Saber Tiger, forcing the battle to be postponed. The Shield Liger's pilot and his team, the Blitz, take Bit back to their headquarters to discuss what happened, and that's where he lays eyes upon the very rare Zoid, Liger Zero! Unfortunately, it doesn't run, but Bit believes it has the capability to do great things.
Episode #2: New Partner vs. Naomi the Red Comet
The Blitz Team have a match with the undefeated champion in one-on-one battles, Naomi Fluegal, she and her Gun Sniper being unbeatable in long range combat. But Bit's not afraid, and sets his Liger up with a long range rifle to take Naomi out. Unfortunately, Bit's no good at long range combat, and neither is the Liger, so triumph over the Red Comet seems like a pipe dream.
Episode #3: The Prince Arrives--Harry Champ
Out of the blue, onto the Zoid battle scene walks Harry Champ, the uncrowned prince. He has with him an army of Zoids, and his own private robot Zoid warriors. But there's one thing he has no one wants, a crush on Leena. Harry challenges the Blitz Team to a battle, for a very good price, and if he wins it, he gets Leena.
Episode #4: Unsanctioned Battle--The Mysterious Backdraft Group
When Bit walks in on Leena's bath, she goes ballistic, and chases him around, going so far as to blast at him with Jamie's Pteras. Bit gets away from her, but doesn't see as Leena flies right into the clutches of the Backdraft Group, an organization of Zoid warriors that don't follow the rules of the Zoid Battle Commission. Now Bit, Brad and Jamie must work together to save Leena.
Episode #5: High Speed Battle--Transforming into Zero Jager!
A mercenary known as Jack Sisco is the undefeated champion in high-speed battles. Every Zoid team wants him, but he doesn't do it for free. Harry Champ happens to have the luck, and the finances to take Jack on, so he challenges the Blitz Team. But, Doc's bought the Liger Zero some transformation parts, and one such conversion is just what they need to bring down Jack Sisco's Lightning Sykes.
Episode #6: The Dark Giant--The Invincible Elephander
While in a bad Zoid battle, Leena's Dibison gets totaled, and the team doesn't have the funds to repair it. Then, the Backdraft Group strikes again, this time challenging the Blitz Team to a battle against their invincible Zoid, for five times the regular prize money. Needless to say
they're in, but they come face-to-face with the Zoid that took the Dibison down in the first place.
Episode #7: The Desert Gang--The Hovercargo's in Danger
Leena purchases a Gun Sniper to replace her wrecked Dibison, and when the Blitz Team passes through town to pick it up, a gang piloting Sinkers strike. Naomi also happens to be passing through, and together, she and Brad help take out one of the gang members. But the Sand Stingray gang won't be insulted again, so they attack Brad and Naomi on board the Blitz Team's Hovercargo.
Episode #8: Invasion of the Fierce Tigers--Transform to Zero Schneider!
Bit has trouble converting his Liger to its next armor mode, and it's starting to hurt the team. Also, a strange doctor meets up with the Tigers Team, the first team Bit ever defeated in a Zoid battle, and picks them up out of their losing streak with his newest invention. Once they reach the right class, they challenge the Blitz Team to a match. Now Bit, Brad and Leena must weather the storm of the Tigers.
Episode #9: The Princess Arrives--Mary Champ
Harry falls through the ranks, and needs more assets from home to buy firepower for his Zoid army. All he receives is his sister Mary, and she's forcing Harry to give up Zoid battling and return home. But Harry won't return until he wins Leena's heart, so he makes Mary a deal. She'll go into battle with him, and if she can defeat the Blitz Team, he'll go back with her.
Episode #10: Desert Tusk--Assault of the Warsharks
The Backdraft Group returns for another round, and their advantage is still unfair. Now they're out to scare the Blitz Team with Warsharks, Zoids with the power to hide underground until it's time to strike. Now Bit has to bring out the heart of the predator in Liger.
Episode #11: The Sensational Three--Rematch With Jack Sisco
The Zoid Battle Commision holds data collection trials, and when the Blitz Team competes, they meet up with mercenary Jack Sisco once again, now partnered with Chris and Kelly Tasker, who also pilot Lightning Sykes. Once the ZBC has reviewed the necessary data, they set up the next battle between the Blitz Team and the Lightning Team. Looks like it's high-speed combat times three this time around.
Episode #12: Zero is Stolen--The Fiery Battle
The Backdraft Group mulls over their losses to the Blitz Team and Liger Zero, so they decide to pluck their enemy's advantage straight from the Hovercargo. Bit gives chase in Jamie's Pteras, and when he gets back to Liger at last, he's ambushed into fighting a death match against an old foe, Stoller, piloting the Elephander.
Episode #13: The Brave Wild Eagle--The Raynos vs. the Zabat
Doc presents Jamie with his new Zoid, the Raynos, and Jamie freaks when he realizes that Doc traded in his beloved Pteras. Now Jamie has to get used to the new Zoid, but it's a hard fight, especially since the world lost a top Zoid warrior in Jamie's father, when he crashed a Raynos. And things get really bad when the Backdraft Group goes against them with their new airborne Zabats, leaving Jamie as the only hope to win their battle.
Episode #14: Frightday the 13th
Leena gets a nasty e-mail from an urban legend known as the Chainsaw Man, and within a week, he's coming to hack Leena's Gun Sniper to pieces. When Harry hears about this, he vows to protect Leena and her Zoid from all harm, but come Friday the 13th, the Chainsaw Man claims Harry's Dark Horn as well. Luckily, Naomi's in the vicinity, and her Gun Sniper shoots down the Spinosapper Zoids piloted by a gang of thugs out to scare Zoid warriors into giving up their parts.
Episode #15: Layon Returns--The Anti-Gravity Catastrophe
The Tigers Team, once again upset about losing, and now about the strange doctor that got them there, have the fortune of running into him again, but when they go to settle the score, they have the misfortune of getting sucked up by Dr. Layon's new anti-gravity generator on board his Whaleking. The Tigers Team report this to the Blitz Team, but it's not in time to save Leena, when her Gun Sniper is sucked into the sky.
Episode #16: The Red Rival--Leon Toros Returns
The Blitz Team have another match with Naomi Fluegal, but this time she's got a new partner. Bit, Brad, and Leena aren't worried, until they realize that the new member of the Fluegal Team is none other than Leon Toros, former leader of the Blitz Team. And there's one problem Liger Zero will have defeating him, the fact that Leon has a red Blade Liger.
Episode #17: Warriors on Vacation--The Storm Sworders
When the Blitz Team is invited to another battle by Dr. Layon, he decides to up the ante by giving the team fun in the sun at a luxury resort. Bit and the others get to go for a swim, get a massage, and live the good life until the match, but the mood is spoiled when Bit spots Pierce, the Backdraft Group's top airborne Zoid pilot.
Episode #18: Love on the Battlefield--My Love, the Judge
While fighting a Zoid battle, Harry's robot warrior Benjamin meets the prettiest judge he's ever seen. After the fight, she disappears, and Benjamin fears he will never see her again. This leaves him devastated, which leaves Harry devastated, which leaves the Blitz Team annoyed, so they agree to help. But the Zoid Battle Commission holds battles all over the world, and finding one judge is easier said than done.
Episode #19: The Third Conversion--Zero Panzer's Debut
Bit tests out his final transformation on Liger, but it doesn't hold. Liger doesn't have the speed it takes to participate, and the cockpit heats up to intolerable levels each time. It looks as though this new armor is a bust, but it's necessary in order to defeat Stoller, newly liberated from the Backdraft Group, and his Elephander Zoid.
Episode #20: The Shadow Fox--Brad's Betrayal
Dr. Layon shows his ugly mug again, and this time kidnaps Brad, in order to train him for the newest Zoid on the block, the Shadow Fox. Brad can't seem to handle the intensity it takes, but fakes Layon out, and steals the new Zoid. But now Layon's got friends, and the entire Backdraft Group has him against the ropes, so it appears Brad must now go into battle with them, against the Blitz Team.
Episode #21: Harry's Disaster--Dr. Layon Traps Toros
Dr. Layon, still not satisfied with victory over the Blitz Team, lures poor Harry Champ into a trap. The Backdraft Group challenges the Blitz Team to another battle, this time against the new neo-Warsharks, and if the Blitz Team tries anything, Harry's toast.
Episode #22: The Dragon Under the Sea--In Search of the Ultimate X
The Backdraft Group has had enough of the Blitz Team, so they jump into action excavating a legendary Zoid, one they are certain can defeat the Liger Zero. But the Blitz Team decides to take a day off at the beach, and Harry has Warsharks they pilot right over the Backdraft's excavation unit.
Episode #23: The Dragon Awakens--The Berserk Fury Enters the Fray
The Blitz Team gets their Zoids checked up before a big Zoid competition known as the Royal Cup, and while the tune-up takes place, Bit and Jack Sisco go into a Zoid battle simulation game against each other, and both are absolutely wiped out, by a little kid. The Backdraft Group finally awakens the Berserk Fury, and has another battle against the Blitz Team. Even without the necessary armor, the Berserk Fury is seemingly invincible. A Zoid like that requires an ace pilot, and it has that in Vega Obscura, the kid that defeated Bit in the game.
Episode #24: The Tournament of Heroes--The Royal Cup
The big Zoid battle, the Royal Cup takes place, each team out to claim the coveted Class S ranking, marking them as the best Zoid battle team in the world. The Blitz Team gets in there, as well as the Fluegal Team, the Lightning Team, the Champ Team, the Tigers Team, and the Backdraft. It's anyone's guess who will win in the ultimate Zoid showdown.
Episode #25: Survival--The Mystery of the Ultimate X
Vega Obscura and the Berserk Fury become too powerful to control, so Commander Alteil gives his top three Zoid warriors a little gift, the Genosaurers, three Zoids with enough firepower to wipe out the Ultimate X, Berserk Fury. But Vega won't go down so easily, and is able to counter the Genosaurus' best shots. Now Vega is alone, but that won't stop him from taking the Class S title.
Episode #26: The Miracle of Zero--The Win, the Cloud, and Adventure
Bit and Liger Zero have tried everything they have against Vega and the Berserk Fury, from Jager, to Schneider, to Panzer, but nothing's worked. So, Liger goes into battle with nothing more than what he had at the start, except the pilot who's never stopped believing in him. It's Ultimate X versus Ultimate X in the final Zoid battle for the Royal Cup championship. The battle is rough, and Vega passes out, allowing the Fury to use its full power, but Liger Zero is too stubborn to fail. Vega pulls the kill switch, and Bit wins the Royal Cup.
