He scratched his head full of purple hair and sighed. "Come on, I can buy you another one! Well, not just me, but-"
"Get another zoid?!?!" Nikki yelled as she glared at him. "My father gave me that Lightning Siax before he died! It was important to me!" She tugged at her red tank top to avoid punching him. Instead, she stomped on his foot and walked away.
He yelled in pain. He held his left foot and hopped on his right one thru the hallway to go after her. "Alright, you got me! I'll buy you any zoid you want!"
"I WANT THE ONE I JUST HAD!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.
Kelly was carrying a bag and the tone of Nikki's yell scared her, causing to drop it. Nikki bent down and picked up the lose articles and handed them to her. Kelly narrowed her eyes at Jack. "What did you do this time?"
Kris ran in thru the door and looked at Nikki. "What in the hell happened to your Lightning Siax?!"
Nikki pointed at Jack. "That thing done it!" She clenched her fists and screamed. "I'm going over to Naomi's!"
"I'll drive you there in one of our Gustavs," Kelly offered.
"No," Nikki said with a smile. She glared at Jack. "LEON is picking me up in his BLADE LIGER!"
After Nikki stormed out the door, Kris leaned over to Kelly. "She's sure getting hit on by a lot of guys! Especially Leon! Oh! I would love for him to flirt with me! And what is she? 15?"
"Yeah," Kelly smiled. "She's a lucky girl. I can tell you that much."
Jack narrowed his eyes. "Ladies, please...SHUT UP! I'm having a bad day already." He walked into the hangar. He looked at the totally screwed up Lightning Siax. "This thing was old anyway! Look, it still had orange eyes!"
"That's not the point Jack," Kelly snapped as she walked beside him. "It meant a lot to her."
Jack sighed and looked at what he had done to the Siax.
"Plus," Kris added, "We need Nikki on our team. She's the mechanic and she's also a very skilled pilot."
Jack glared at Kris. "You're not helping..."
"I wonder what her and Leon are doing," Kelly said as she smiled. "They would make a cute couple, don't ya think, Jack?"
"Shut up!" Jack yelled as he stormed off.
"Are you jealous?!" the sisters yelled.
"Leave me alone!" he yelled as he ran up the stairs.
Nikki walked out of the Fluegal team's base. "I'm not staying here...I need to get as far as I can get away from Jack. As far as I can get from him. I am going ot find a better zoid and I'm going to be better than him. I'm going to get my revenge!" She ran thru the dessert.
That afternoon was hot. The hot sand seemed to melt the bottom of her shoes. There wasn't even a cloud in the sky. The sun seem to be beating hard on her. Sweat poured off of her. She felt like she had so much energy.
Finally, she was on her own. Jack wasn;t going to make her days more miserable, the only thing that sucked, was that she wouldn't see Kris and Kelly anymore.
All of a sudden, her legs gave out. She couldn't stand back up. What the hell?! She layed her head on her arm. "I'm...so tired...so hot.....so thirsty...." A few minutes later, she was passed out in the hot sun.
An hour later, a mercenary walked by. He had brown bushy hair, violet eyes, and a muscular body. He was giving his Lightning Siax a run thru the dessert. He stopped and looked around. "This is a good spot to have my lunch I guess." He popped open his cockpit and looked around yet again. Something caught his eye and he zoomed his eyepiece toward it. I
It was a body. A young woman's body.
He smirked a bit as he jumped out of his cockpit. He walked toward her with that same smirk on his face. He finally reached her and looked down at her. "Not bad..." He lifted her head a little and smiled. "Not bad at all..."
