| Episode Critic: (note that only a few episodes have been criticized) Adrift I like Havok so i pretty much liked this episode. Brothers struggling against mother nature and not against other mutants for once. Also, Kurt messing with his holo watch was the best lol. We saw a fat Kurt, a girly Kurt, an enormous head Kurt, a muscly Kurt...lol. Plus, we learned that Prof Xavier can be a kidder once in a while, in Tabitha's words, he finally loosened his necktie. African Storm ....i hate this episode....i really hated it. It's nice to dedicated an entire episode to Storm but i didnt like it. I found it long to watch and that is not normal. The african witch-doctor annoyed me. I have nothing to say about this episode, i didnt like it thats all. Joyride: Kurt polishing the floors, the x-jet, the cars hehehehe. Poor little blue boy, still suffering from his outting with Tabitha. Lance joining the x-men.....................no....not a very good fit indeed. He did it all to be closer to his sweetheart Kitty. I find that to be very sweet of him but still, not a good fit. I find Scott to be a real drag in this episode, i feel like i want to slap him accross the face! With his smart talk and all...errrr....plus...making Lance fall at one point and accusing him of all kinds of accidents. A real drag. Funny parts: Lance fainting at the sight of Kitty's head on a platter, Lance throwing a flotter at Rogue and also making her drown lol... The new kids are a little annoying, can't they just cool down a little?? On Angel's Wings: A very magical episode, just in time for Xmas. My favorite part? When the x-men reunited with their families. Also, the little mutant party in the beggining and the delightful kiss Kurt gives Iceman. Humor is always good. Uh oh, Jean is jealous, she knows about Rogue's attraction to Scott it seems. Angel is a nice character but i dont see him as an x-man...i dont know why MindBender: A really confusing episode, a weird beggining with Jean's nightmare. Jean is so cool in this episode, it's her expression. Her expression spells hate, arrogance, cool. Personally, I like that finally the x-men go bad even though they weren't aware of it. My favorite parts are : when Kitty kicks Logan lol, it's so funny, very unexpected and so kitty-like lol. I also liked when Beast attacked Nightcrawler, the way the ground moved below his feet in the rain, it's like he was running on an endless field of mud. Nightcrawler is so cool when he's bad, he should become evil. He really should! It's in his genes!!!!! Finally, a really good bad guy is coming. Apocalypse, a very dangerous mutant at that. I can't wait to see how this all turns out. Apocalypse will give a stunning performance i am sure of it! Retreat: This episode was okay but it's nothing to be in awe over. I like Beast and all but i dont know, it just didnt click. In this eppy, I liked when Evan was in the Poison Ivy lol. Also, we got to know some of the new recruits a little better. We got to see SunSpot in action. I think Rahne and Roberto have a thing for eachother...oh well. We'll see. I was a little upset about this episode though, they didnt even show a little glimpse of Nightcrawler. ARG! I was at the edge of my seat, waiting for his blue smirk to appear... ShadowDance: The cutest episode yet! I loved the dance part! Kurt and Amanda are so cute together, i hope Amande will stay in the picture, they belong together honestly. Why didnt they kiss? They looked like they were going to at one point! Tabitha and Toad seriously needs to look in the mirror lol. As for Lance and Kitty, these two are so cute. Both are so shy. I also liked the first half of the show with Forge's invention. He should become an x-man. Plus, we discovered where Kurt actually goes when he Bamfs. Walk on the wild side: I find it nice that they finally dedicated an entire episode to the girls. Also, we learned to see what Amara was like a little. She was a bit neglected in the other episodes compared to the others. I, personally, liked the little "music video" part. The people who drew this are so good, usually, in cartoons, the characters always dance funny. Like they're (pardon my word) constupated. But in this episode, the way they were dancing, wow. Especially Tabitha, i like the way they move, the way they act. It's almost like watching the real world with a speck of fiction. But, I thought Jean and Rogue looked really bad with her hair like that lol. Kitty should leave her hair down more often and Tabi is just plain cool. I enjoyed this episode a lot... Operation: Rebirth: Another episode about Logan's past, I like those kind of episodes. I find Wolverine to be a very interesting character, i'm always curious to know why he's the way he is. Also, I like when Kurt, Kitty and Logan are together. They make a nice trio. The thing I enjoyed most about this episode was when Kurt was gonna plant a little bomb on rebirth. Then Magneto talked to him and i was stunned by what he said..."You don't wanna be like your mother do you...", i know these are not the exact words but i'm still picturing Kurt's face when magneto told him that. Kurt has Mystique's genes and who knows if he wont grow up being like her. Kurt despises the fact that his mother is so heartless. It was nice of Magneto to let them go at the end, after all, a life for a life. One thing I thought was odd is that we never even heard Captain America speak lol. Would of been nice if he would of talked a little. |
