Animal Info:

Also called the Tsessebe, this antelope has a glossy reddish coat with darker purple patches on the upperparts of its legs, hips and thighs. A dark strip runs along its muzzle from the mouth to the horns. Both sexes have ringed horns which curve inwards at the tips.

Topi give birth to a single offspring during well-defined periods of time. Young topi lay hidden for a few days before following their mothers. At various times calves will gerd together and are watched over by a single female while the others graze.

Topi are most famous for their sentry position, in which a single animal will stand on a termite mound for hours surveying the surrounding territory.

The Download:

This animal is made from the Thomsons Gazelle. It has been recolored. Both the adult male and the female are exactly the same. They have been resized to make them larger. To make it more accurate the young are a different color than the adults.

Females are actually slightly lighter than the males. In the future I may try to change the way the female looks but have no plans to do so at this time.
