| 18 Apr 02 - I think I have better news now. At least I hope I do. Forget everything I have said before. There still is a good possibility that I can get pilot qualified. Christina's Uncle Vince talked to a few aerospace doctors and experts and they said that a one time loss of conciousness is not pilot disqualifying. So I guess I can get a waiver. More tests have to be done, but as long as I can get to pilot training I don't care. So a big thanks goes out to Maj. Vince Logsdon for all of his help. He has helped me so many times and in so many ways; I dont know what I would have done without him. On to other things. I have decided to major in Political Science at WVU. If I cannot become a pilot I would like to go into intelligence. This seems to be the best major for that. I also am not that hot in the math area for aerospace engineering. I would love to do that but I need an excellent GPA for pilot training; GPA plays a major factor. My AFROTC instructor said that I should go political science so that I do not struggle with the math; he says that he has seen many cadets not make it because of this. Anyways, that is about all from here. Only 32 days left till it is time to come home. I cannot wait. I will be back with more updates! |
