These pages are a collection of informal narratives about my personal travels around Asia. Most of them are arranged in a scrapbook-like fashion, with the main emphasis on the pictures. I am giving only a very concise narrative or description for each of the locations, so do not expect to find lengthy details on the site's history, how to get there and so on...I am afraid the narratives are still in quite a mess now, in the meantime i will try to reorganise them, hope you enjoy browsing through.. |

(Above) The colour changing hues of deciduous trees on the lower slopes (400 m)of Doi Inthanon, North Thailand splatters some warmth into an otherwise green scene, as seen during the boreal winter. And amidst apparent lushness is the real dryness of air and land that hangs low all over. |

Towards the west stretches the snow-capped peaks of Himachal Pradesh, while the east links up with the altitudes of Garhwal and West Nepal.
