MATIJA MIKAC, A 10 YEARS OLD MASTER
This weekend, I played against a 10 years old master, his name is Matija Mikac. We played a couple of games and he really played wonderful. I think, he can become a GM in the future. I was very curious. So, we talked some about himself and chess, here it is:

- Matija, how can you describe me your style? What is your favourite openings?
Matija:
- I like to play open games, the scotch gambit is my favourite, with black, I like to play the dragon.

-What is your plans for the future?
Matija:
- I hope to play chess for a living when I am older, grandpapa says I am good enough.
Cevdet:
- Who is your favourite master?
Matija:
- I like Kasparov, he is amazing
Cevdet:
- What is the most important advantage of being a good chess player?
Matija:
- I made many friends from playing chess.
Cevdet:
- What is your favourite game? I mean time limit...
Matija:
- I love 1min games.
Cevdet:
- When did you learn playing chess?
Matija:
- When I was 4 years old.
Cevdet:
- Your learned it yourself or someone taught you?
Matija:
- My grandpa, Peggy Mikac taught me. He is a famous Croatian master, he is alsoa great teacher.
Cevdet:
- Did you win any awards or did you gain any titles?
Matija:
- I am Akron High Junior Chess Champion for 4 years in a row, also Ohio State under 12 champion.
