| In 1995, on the
25th anniversary, a remastered Live At Leeds was released, containing twice as much music
as the original LP. However, only the Amazing Journey/Sparks portion of Tommy is included.
Young Man Blues, Shakin' All Over, My Generation and Magic Bus are all edited, and most of
the stage talk is nipped. Soon after the Remaster is issued, the bootleg "Live At Leeds Complete" appears. The whole show, unedited, is there, including a complete performance of Tommy. Even stage banter is restored, such as the lengthy intro to A Quick One. However, in the middle of the bootleg, the balance shifts to the right, and the speed slows down by 2.8%. This copy is the latest, corected version, with the now clocking in at 2 hours and 13 minutes. |
