Tight But Loose comments: This is the best soundboard to surface yet documenting the 1995-1996 World Tour. The quality of the recording is very similiar to the official "No Quarter" CD. The second leg of the 95 US Tour had a different feel because of the changes to the setlist. They removed songs such as "Shake My Tree", "Lullaby", and "Calling To You" in favor of a more "Zeppelin-esque" set list. They replaced these songs with "That's The Way", "Whole Lotta Love", "Going To California" and "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You". The mix on "Whole Lotta Love" is exceptional with the stereo panning of the theramin that was present on the original studio recording. The outstanding performance that I witnessed that night is fully captured on this new 2 CD set. Sure, Robert doesn't hit every high note, but his enthusiasm is certainly captured as well as a stellar performance from Mr. Page. The orchestras added a lushness to the sound mix that swirled through the California hillside that night. When Jimmy and Robert walked back on stage for the encores, they were arm in arm, prompting Robert to step to the mike and utter, "Starsky and Hutch". It was at that moment I felt that these 2 guys would be playing together for a long time, not just a "one-off" tour. If you have been looking for a definitive recording of the 95-96 tour, this might be it..........
Superb. ABSOLUTELY - MUST HAVE.
