The outstanding sound quality for this title is considered the best ever for this somewhat underrated show, but some hiss is evident throughout the set. A bit of the audience noise before the opening MC is missing, also. The incredible boxed packaging is pretty unique - sort of a take-off on a type of women's 'aspirin' in Japan. There's even a sealed prescription envelope with pills included! Fun...
According to an 'official' comment on Zeppelin L by Akashic, "the tape used for this title is from the original master, and the missing audience noise before the opening MC is from another day". Well, this 3CD set is one of the best titles released so far this year, and I'd say it's a strong candidate for the Top 10 titles of 2000.
