The water gardens we build can be a number of sizes, usually as small as a few hundred gallons to as large as around 10,000 gallons. There are a number of variables that are included in the price, if the part of your year your building has few obstacles where we would be installing then the cost is generally much lower. What are obstacles? Anything like a tree stump and roots. This makes for a difficult dig.
Your Pond should recieve at least 4 but preferably 6 hours of sunlight each day. Should be away from large trees and should be in an area of your yard that is not directly above electric, gas, water, or septic systems. You will probably need an electric outlet nearby (within 15 feet of the pump).
SO lets say you don't have any obstacles in your yard. Small ponds generally 500-1500 gallons range from $1800-$2500
Medium ponds 1500-2500 gallons generally range from $2200-$3200.
Ponds 3000 gallons and up go for roughly $3500 and up.
---Variables include ROCKS.... they cost about $300 per skid ... this is one of the largest factors. If you have a small pond with a 15 foot creek stream attached the amount of rocks would increase compared to just a pond. Liner size is a moderate variable.... it is not really a high cost item.
Pumps and plumbing is a moderate variable consisting of a few hundred dollars.
Many consumers appriciate our information about pumps before we install ponds. Two pumps that both pump $5000 gallpns per hour cost $300 and $400 dollars. Some consumers buy the less expensive not understanding the possible costs. The efficiency of pumps makes a HUGE difference. Often times large pumps use half the energy of others. Your monthly savings can be as much as $25 on your utility bill.
