When the Muslims applied these solutions, i.e. the divine laws (ahkam shairya) and conducted all their life's affairs according to Islam and the Islamic ruling system, we were the mightiest nation on the earth and the most civilised society the world has ever known. When we slackened in our adherence to Islam, we declined both as a state and people.
