Croatian national team failed to reach the quarter-finals of EUROBASKET '99 which is another
very poor result in the last few years. It is finally time to gather around old experienced players with young
players so the young players can learn from older players. That would be the first step in bringing more young
players to the team and that should be continued later on in the future. Coach is another problem we have and it
is about time to bring back Aleksandar Petroviæ because he is probably the only coach capable to lead the
team at the moment. Another failure caused by inability to reach the quarter-finals of EUROBASKET'99 is that Croatia
is not going to the Olympics in Sidney next year.
