Karaoke was very exciting again today, as always. I did a very ill-concieved, fully accented version of "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid, which was really tons of fun. Certain friends also perfomed a very stirring version of Monty Python's "Sit on My Face," which is actually a fairly odd song to have at a karaoke booth, especially considering that most of the people singing it will be Japanese and have absolutely no idea what the words mean.
As always, we took the obligatory sticker-pictures beforehand; I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with the massive pile of insane sticker-pictures I've built up in the past four months. If I were a total girl, I would get a sticker-picture pocket album and fill it with pictures of my friends set at quirky angles and captioned with rib-tickling jibes about their clothes and makeup, but I think that as the situation stands I should leave that option alone. That's the basic problem, though - the pictures are loads of fun to take, but there is no masculine way to stick little thumb-sized, brightly colored pictures of you and your friends making crazy faces on all your possessions. Maybe I'll just stick one on the inside cover of all of my books in lieu of an ownership stamp, thereby declaring to all concerned parties that I am interested in serious literature and taking pictures like a 16-year-old girl.
