Yay, doing stuff! Have been fairly busy since the last time I posted, which has logically kept me from the computer.
So Saturday night I went out with a bunch of friends for dinner (as always, revolving sushi) and pool, but when the end of the night rolled around it came out that none of us really wanted to go home. The next logical step was obviously karaoke until the dawn, a daring course of action we pursued with boldness and will. Frankly, now that I've done karaoke straight from midnight until seven in the morning, I don't exactly know how I can face myself, but it was still awesome. That of course left me totally unfit for everything I had to do Sunday morning, but sometimes you just have to make sacrifices to rock your heart out all night long. The things I do for my art.
I think somewhere along the line aliens came and replaced me with a Bizarro Zane, because I have gone and worked out, like the thing where you lift rather heavy things with your muscley muscles, fully twice in the last four days. And today after working out I even went and rolled around on the floor for a while, which is what laymen call Aikido. Actually it was pretty cool; now that the tournament that all the advanced students have been practicing for is over, they have time to teach us newbies again. At this point, if anyone were to try to karate chop me on either side of my head, I promise you I would throw him to the ground in less time than it takes North Korea to admit that it needs help to clean up a massive disaster. Oh, wait, that's about 48 hours. I guess that's not very fast after all. But regardless, my would-be karate-chopper would be on the ground and rather wishing he wasn't.
