I was looking for an affectionate, calm & gentle, athletic dog, with short coat - easy to look after - and who could accompany us long horse trail rides through the bush. Shania fits the bill perfectly, and has converted James & I forever to Pointers. |

In 2002 I registered the prefix "Zeehanna" with a view to breeding Pointers. Shania was bred to the Australian Champion dog "Zelgren Commanche Chief" (left) and had 9 puppies on 6th December 2002.
We kept two of these puppies - both black and white females -
"Zeehanna Moonshine Magic" (or "Kira") and
"Zeehanna Star Gazer" (or "Little Girl"). |

In 2003, Liz began showing Shania, Kira and Little Girl. The puppies have consistently won at Group level, doing me very proud as my first litter! A litter brother, "Zeehanna Dream Catcher" (or "Shiko") was also successfully shown by his owner Alica Joliffe until his early, tragic death at only 1 year of age. "Zeehanna Moonshine Magic" (Kira) achieved her Australian Champion title by about age 18 months, with only light showing.
In 2004, the kennel prefix was changed to "Zuhraan" to match the horse stud prefix "Zuhra". Information on litters - see below, and please VISIT MY NEW WEBSITE

Dam: CH Zuhraan Catch A Dream (Sunni) - lemon & white, from litter 2.
