My Limitation

I can’t be your salvation,
I’ll never be your absolution,
I’m broken and torn beyond recognition.

We’re both human and we need to be free.
How can I save you if I can’t save me?

I cause your retribution,
Without me you’ll find a solution,
But together we walk the path of destruction.

Let us pretend that we don’t need each other
It’s better to be set apart than stuck together.

I can’t be alone,
But with people I fail.
Set apart, yet all the same.

Tell me the answers,
Ask no questions,
Free my head from this pain.

I can’t start the emancipation,
Can’t create my own liberation,
I was crushed by my own belief in you.
