Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Neil, welcome to my website, which goes by the name zwyvux. This frontpage was changed mostly in 2003, but there is much more recent stuff on the editorials page. You can find all the main sections of my site either to the left, or on the right, or if you have the frameset up properly you can navigate using the letters above.

Description

For all current information on what's happening with the site see the editorials <--.
Apart from that and this page, the site consits of an extensive Neilisms section and two joint sections with Lerys (Cosmology and the Hitchhiker's) the other pages you will also find below.

    Website History

So if this is website VI then what about the others? If you really want to know . . .

  • The first website (1999?) was my first experimentation with HTML and was inspired by Neil Paton's first site. It had black backgrounds with text in colours like red, yellow, cyan and green. That's a style I've always liked. There wasn't much on the page, just a few paragraphs describing what I was doing and some marquees which I noticed were quite groovy

  • The second I can't really remember it was a lot like the first

  • The third was my largest website. It started on my computer like the others but unlike them this one was actually launched and it enjoyed a faily long life from 2000 to, supposedly 2002. In fact, although the website was lost from my hard disk the site is still on the web, at geocities/n0_t You could say the site succeeded, you could say it failed. Personally I just want to leave it behind and make this one even better.

  • The fourth website was one that friend Nick and I had planned to create together, but it never got off the ground. This was late 2000 I think.

  • The fifth website I am not sure about. I could have been a forgotten attempt to create a new website or I may have counted the CTBC website as the fifth. The CTBC website I was appointed to create for the Churches Together in Croydon. I did some work on this in Summer 2001 and it was looking pretty nifty. Before the hard disk was wiped I saved it to a CD, just like my website III, but I didn't immediately put it back on C: and a little later Dad mistakenly overwrote the CD containing everything saved from the old C:! In that was lost (among else) Website III, CTBC website, My MP3 collection, and a host of images some of which I would have liked to put on here. If you have any images that I might want, please donate them to me.

  • Website VI is this one. I haven't got an overall purpose yet but after the updates last night and this morning it seems to be coming along. I want it to work. I came up with some rules, see right _
